Not well received

My ideas about picking up some cheap 5 speed Mustang was not well received by Ali.  First there is the money aspect of it.  Even if the car is cheap, that same money could be used to do any number of household projects that are on the list first.  Second, Ali referred back to the frustration and anguish the 88 Salvage Title Vette gave me. I agreed the Vette was much more trouble than it was worth but I skipped that and instead pointed out that the 71 Buick that went up in flames was great and I enjoyed having that.  I certainly wouldn’t buy a salvage title car again and I would be more picky in the selection process.  Of course it is all a moot point because the numbers just don’t look favorable enough to do so.  When Ali mentioned that we couldn’t afford it of course it triggered me to take a look through the bills since Ali has taken over doing them for quite some time now.  It made me say “hmmmmmmmm…”  Oh well, I think it will happen some time, just not sure when.  There is sure to be no shortage of 5 liter, 5 speed Mustangs in the forseeable future.
