The smell of burning flesh
I got some first hand experience in what burning flesh smells like yesterday. I had my appointment to have three small areas of basal cell skin cancer burned off. The worst part of the procedure is when they inject the areas with a localized anesthetic. It felt like they were injecting liquid fire into my skin.
The stuff works though, I didn’t feel a thing afterwards as the doctor cauterized the areas and then scraped off the burned remains. The entire procedure took maybe a half hour.

I have so many brown spots and freckles on my face now since owning a boat and spending three years out on the water every weekend without really taking care of my skin. Having a convertible didn’t help either. I also had two spots of cancer removed from my skin. After the second bout of cancer, the boat was sold and so was my convertible. Being in FL, I know you know ,that you should be wearing sun screen on your face all the time. Not just when your running or playing volleyball!!
