Bountiful

I forgot to mention that Ali took a picture of our latest harvest from our now productive garden.  Front and center are the HUGE beets.  Beets have been the all-star of our garden thus far along with the tons of lettuce we produced.  If you look close you will see there are also some beans, carrots and our first ever edible strawberries.  There is something about growing your own stuff in the garden that connects with me. 

Speaking of connecting.  I spent more time than normal this weekend just sort of “being”  Both on Saturday and Sunday I took time to just do nothing but sit out on the lanai and enjoy the sights and sounds of our property.  We really are quite lucky in many ways.  I just don’t slow down often enough to think about it all that much.
