That my grandmother who no longer would recognize me due to dementia/senility, never had a drivers license her entire life? As far as I know she never drove a car. I am not sure what the reason for that is. I just remember my grandfather taking her wherever she needed to go. Not driving seems like such a huge show stopper in today’s must go here and there society. Well at least for those of us that don’t live in big cities where public transportation is convenient and prevalent…

Grandma did have a license when I was little. She proceeded to hit a mail box and drive into a cornfield and another time she was backing out of a friends driveway and the car stalled and blocked traffic both ways cause she flooded it. I was with her both times very young but I sooo remember it. That was it for driving for her
