A-hole Armadillo, post work production

Remember that cute little armadillo I mentioned last week?  The dogs had cornered it before it dug itself in under the palmetto bush.  I was happy when Ali said it managed to find it’s way out under the front gate.  Well I don’t think it’s so cute anymore.  Apparently the armadillo has been coming back to visit us at nighttime and in the process has dug dozens of tennis ball size holes around the yard.  Of course once the hole is dug out, the dirt that is spread around the hole is never sufficient to fill it all the way back up so I am going to have to go around the yard with a wheelbarrow of dirt.   Armadillos suck.

Since I am playing volleyball with Randall on Saturday I thought I would be proactive and mow the grass last night after work  so it wouldn’t have to be done over the weekend.  It was actually quite a nice experience.  Mowing grass at that time of day results in much more pleasant temperatures which is great.  I got finished up a little before 8.  I didn’t weed whack though.  I may have been able to quickly do that but it would have been finished up by flood light.  It felt good to get it done. Mowing grass is more productive than getting a few extra XP points in Warcraft.

I found a use for Twitter.  I simply link it to my blog entries. Facebook is linked to the entries as well.  The circle of life is complete.
