Four days

I have four days off coming up.  We already get President’s Day off but since I will be getting cut open that day I decided to take Tuesday off as well.

We have a race to time this weekend, Valentine’s day no less.  I’d like to try to get out for a dinner for Ali over the weekend as well.  I’m sure I’ll find plenty of items around the house to keep me occupied.

My work on the water system last weekend has continued to appear productive.  Not only has the water coming out of the tap looked significantly better, the softness is starting to return as well.  I also noticed that the granite composite sink in the kitchen isn’t getting that glazed, faded look like it has since we put it in.  It would be a cool thing if we didn’t have to drop the entire tax refund on a water system if we don’t have to.  I still do have an issue with the holding tank losing pressure, maybe I’ll take a shot at that again this weekend.

Since I now have all of the equipment necessary to do a 300 at home I have been “encouraged” by Randall and Jeremy to do a 300 before I am once again shelved by the surgery.  I am hesitant to do one since I haven’t done a single 300 since December and I haven’t done any serious consistent 300 training for probably 6 months.  They are hoping that due to those circumstances that my time would be closer to theirs which ranged from 60-75+ minutes.  The opportunity to show them that even in “bad” 300 shape I could still best their efforts is tempting for sure.  We’ll see how I feel.
