Still standing, Gorton’s gourmet
So last night I got the opportunity to do a more extensive test of my newly constructed high bar. Even though I did a quick pull up test the evening before I wanted to test it out with my rings since that was the primary reason I made it.
Getting the rings attached to the bar wasn’t very difficult, I just threw the buckle end of the strap over the bar and threaded it with the ring attached. In all of my testing the structure felt just fine. I discovered that just climbing up to the high bar could be a workout in itself, especially if it is done without leg assistance. A couple people suggested attaching a climbing rope to the structure as well.
I was happy that my testing went well. I was worried with the structure being as tall as it is that swaying could be problem. It seems just fine.
Last night I prepared my most involved dinner since Ali has been away. Two Gorton’s fish pieces and baked beans. This meal involved me microwaving TWO items instead of just one. It was quite tasty.
Ali returns home today so hopefully my dinner quality will improve.
