Sad day
Well Valentine’s Day 2013 certainly is not a bright and shiny one this year for obvious and not so obvious reasons. It looks like the weather gods have done their part, dialing up a gray, wet and dreary day to match my mood.
I am struggling to keep the lights on at the recently launched new Bar-barians website. My web host keeps warning me about usage issues. I continue to take steps wherever I can to streamline the site to minimize impact to the shared server the website resides on. The latest step has been the implementation of a robots.txt file to cut down on search spiders crawling the site.
Ironically, the web hosting I pay for is described as “Unlimited” . I guess it is unlimited until you hit the limit.

Ugh. How annoying. Can’t you ring them and just ask them to explain exactly how much bandwidth you can use? Or whether you need to upgrade?
And just forget about Valentines Day – complete waste of time anyway.
