Still flickering

So the battery/charging light on the Tacoma is still coming off and on.  It seems to be coming on more and more.  I noticed yesterday that when the light came on the fan speed on the truck accelerated noticeably.   The quick analysis would point to the alternator.  If I didn’t just replace the starter a couple weeks ago I would just go buy an alternator, but I can’t help but think that the starter replacement is connected to the problem.

So this weekend I want to get back under the truck and take a close look at the electrical connection to the starter as well as the cables coming off the battery.  If everything is tight and intact I guess I will pull the trigger on an alternator although I will wait until my credit card cycle flips in a day or two.

This weekend it feels like I have a very long list of things to do around the house.  This week I didn’t get a head start on any of it during the week.  I’ll bust on the chores hard and fast starting tonight.  When I go into “let’s get this shit done” mode, things start getting knocked off the list pretty quickly.

Maybe I will do a brick this weekend, maybe not,  I am feeling like I am at a pretty significant sleep deficit at this point.
