Weighty issue

Since I raised the red flag last week when I noticed I gained a few pounds from my holiday cookie hoarding, I did additional cardio work at the gym, tried to resume a more normal eating pattern and expected my weigh in last night to show I knocked a number or two off the scale. Instead I gained another 2 pounds! 4 alarms, sound the siren, this is getting out of hand. So more severe measures have to be implemented. Just these few pounds make my clothes feel different and I don’t like the feel. By the end of the month I plan to be back to my pre-holiday fighting weight. It seems like the cookies apply weight in a delayed fashion that sneaks up on you, damn them to hell.
