We have had some smelly situations since we got home.  The first smelly thing was our water, specifically the hot water.  It has a nasty musty stink which is probably the result of the tank sitting unused for a week.  It’s great taking a shower in stinky water. 

The inside of my truck smelled horrible as well.  It almost smelled like a frog crawled up somewhere and died.  It wouldn’t be the first time.  Once the AC runs for awhile the smell lessens but it’s still there. 

The ebay pool store that was dragging their feet for a month issuing my refund for the pool drain covers actually refunded my money yesterday after no less than a half dozen requests by me to do so.  I was surprised to see the refund finally hit my account.  Better late than never.

I took the plunge and got the stuff for a home NAS.  I had some ebay coupons that were expiring soon for 10% off and $10 off shipping.  I also had a $75 credit ebay issued me because I had the claim against the HDD asshole seller.  I used the combination of these coupons to get a D-Link DNS-323 NAS along with two 500 gb hard drives.  My plan is to configure them in a Raid 0 configuration to give my data a fail safe.  With the coupons I wound up laying out about $250 for everything, a pretty nice deal for a 500 GB NAS.

Being away a weekend means this weekend will be work filled for me.  My mental list is quite long.  It may hit double digits by the time I put pen to paper.
