1500, Farewell…
Originally when I decided my goal was doing a “1500” (five 300’s in a week) I figured I would just pick a week and do 5 of them. Well after barely surviving the 300 today I realized that I need to work up to my 1500 dream. I am going to have to first do two a week and then three a week for a bit and then try five. Going from one to five would be insanity if not physically impossible. The mere fact that I was able to complete a 300 today a little over a week after playing in the Rumble is a testament to how much better my physical condition is post tourney this time around.
Like I said earlier, playing BG’s in Warcraft can be extremely boring. The boredom is sometimes peppered by funny moments however. I was in a BG fighting on a narrow strip of land with deep ravines on either side with about 4 teammates. One of my teammates was a priest. A priest has the ability to “mind control” an opposing player for a brief period of time which allows him to control all the actions of the other player. Well as we were fighting the priest decided to use this ability on a horde player. He mind controlled the enemy and promptly walked him off the cliff, sending him plummeting to his death far below. As he did this he waved goodbye to his mind controlled buddy and said “Farewell…” as he toppled off the cliff. It made me laugh out loud hard. It was very funny….
