Covered, dry
So my new tonneau cover was installed yesterday. The new cover looks great but yet I have some buyers remorse. It has nothing to do with the cover, it’s because I paid to have it installed. After seeing how simple the installation was I felt almost moronic for paying someone to install it for me. If I would have bought the cover myself and installed it myself I probably could have saved a good $150 or so. Oh well, I guess I will write it off as an investment in local business.
After work last night I ripped into the air handler almost hoping that I would see a small pond of water collected underneath in the duct work which would explain the poor cooling performance. Unfortunately, it appears that the rig job I performed last time I had the unit apart had worked. There was absolutely no water collected underneath. Why is this unfortunate you ask? Well it means there is something else wrong which will require an expensive visit from an HVAC company. I suppose our house is getting to the age when this sort of thing is going to start happening.
Mom goes back home today, we enjoyed having her around for 5 days. It seemed like she actually didn’t mind it as much as she did in the past. I think she enjoyed being involved in the painting project. I’ll have to get the next painting project on the calendar while she is available to lend a hand.
Sir Randall
Why didn’t you go with a roll and lock cover? I’ll sell you a deep tool box cheap.
