LL Homey J

I have a friend and his name is LL Homey J.  Homey has a problem, he is addicted to gadgets.

In my line of work I probably run into more gadget addicts than anything else.  Hell I am a gadget addict myself.  I have the Tivo’s, the Roombas, the fully wired house with home network, Sony Dash, 6 computers, Iphones, Ipad, etc. etc.

Homey however is a notch above me.  He currently has FOUR Ipad’s.  Over the past 5 years I would estimate he has had at LEAST 12 different models of cell phone.  He swaps out his Apple computers every 12-24 months.

Well he elevated himself to a new level when he told me despite having his 4 Ipad’s and Iphone 4 he decided to buy the Motorola Xoom, an Ipad competitor.  His logic was he wanted a 3g enabled tablet which none of his Ipad’s are.

Well it turns out he hates the Xoom, it was a waste of $599.  Luckily he has 14 days to return it, so he can buy something else….

It’s a sickness.
