Ridiculous 24 hours

The next 24 hours are going to be pretty insane due to the holiday race I am timing tomorrow.  It started bright and early this morning when I had to download the overnight entries for the race, print out 100 pages of registrant lists and then transfer all the data to a laptop to be utilized for early packet pick up today.  Then on my way to work I had to drop off the lists, laptop and a couple other things to Alison since she is one of the people working today.

Tonight I have to pick the laptop up and then get everything all ready to go, hopefully getting tobed at a very early hour since I plan on getting up in the middle of the night.  Then tomorrow will be just one crazy blur until I emerge out the other side mid-morning.  Yes, I am looking forward to it being over with.

Tomorrow I am going over to moms for Thanksgiving dinner, we invited Ali over as well (with the dogs of course) Yes I know, to many it sounds weird that Ali is going to be at the table with us but I never claimed our separation was conventional.

The rest of my long holiday weekend has a few things on the docket along with the normal household duties.  For some reason I have an urge to get up early and go mingle with the Black Friday crowd.  To do this would be odd on it’s own, to do it this year where Christmas is looking to be a near non-event in my household, makes even less sense.

I may throw a couple lights up outside and get out my big oversized stocking so it can hang there, empty.
