Rushing 24, double suck, announcement

Last night Cindy and I had to hurry up an watch the last episode and a half of season six of 24.  Why were we rushing you ask?  Because we had to.

You see yesterday was the last day Netflix was going to have the prior seasons of 24 available for online streaming.  Evidently whatever contract they had to show the series has expired.  For some reason it doesn’t seem right to me, if a show is available to stream on Netflix, it should always be available to stream, at least in my small little world.

When I first heard about the series being yanked from Netflix I was mildly annoyed since it meant I didn’t have a way to digest the final two seasons of the show. Luckily, as is often the case, Amazon was the answer to my dilemma.  24 is available on Amazon’s streaming service and thanks to my wonderful Prime membership, it doesn’t cost me an additional penny.  Just like Netflix, Amazon has a slick Xbox app that allows me to view Amazon content on either of my big tv’s.  It’s a win/win.

neatoSince Cindy is now living in the house with me that means that my original Neato, that I had fostered out to Cindy for use at her apartment has now come back home. It joins the Neato XV that I bought back in December.

For the most part the Neatos seem to play well together.  It’s cool to have the house double vacuumed with two presses of a button.  Cindy did notice a bit of a squabble this morning when the Neato XV docked itself in the original Neatos parking spot, causing robotic confusion.    I am sure they will work things out eventually.

For a long time I have complained about the general state of the world.  The older I get the more annoyed I find myself with humanity in general.  After much contemplation I have decided that I am going to stop talking about the problems and start acting on the solution.

Wit this is in mind, I am officially announcing my candidacy for Seat 2 in the Collier County Mosquito Control District.
