Chicken condo, B City

$T2eC16F,!)cFIcDTIogfBSPHGuMm3g~~60_12[1]So my bid on the chicken coop on Ebay ran unchallenged, I received notification last night I was the winning bidder.  If things go as expected next week a couple big boxes should show up at the house.  Cindy was quite excited by the coop purchase and the prospect of it being occupied by a few chickens.

The coop is moveable, has a nesting box, two perches, a slide out tray for ez cleaning and an attached small run.  The coop itself is elevated so the birds can also hang out under it as well.  We liked that the run has a solid roof on it to give the birds both additional shade and some rain protection if needed.

We aren’t sure what route we want to go as far as the chickens themselves go.  Cindy thinks it would be cool to get small chicks so they grow up knowing us.  However small chicks are more fragile obviously so there is more risk of harm.

Older chickens would be able to hit the ground running (and laying), but might not be as friendly as we would like them to be.  We have some time to decide.

Last night Cindy and I watched my latest Netflix disc, Broken City.  It was a well done murder, mystery, corruption, cop flick starring Marky Mark and  Russell Crowe.  It was the type of movie Cindy and I don’t watch all that often but we both enjoyed it.  B+ from me.
