Incoming Elsa

So yesterday Cindy was working on making the arrangements for us to foster Elsa for a week.  The plan is for Cindy to pick her up tomorrow which unfortunately requires a drive up to Punta Gorda.  I am then picking up Sadie on Thursday after work.  We will have her through the weekend which will give the dogs a good chance to get acclimated.  I don’t really expect any issue with Sadie, my bigger concern is how Elsa acts around the chickens and how behaved she is in the house.  Of course I have anxiety about the idea of introducing a new dog to my everyday existence.  We are fortunate that Cindy is able to be around during the day to try to make that acclimation process as smooth as possible.  This will be an interesting week for sure.
