It’s coming, weekend walk

I plan to try my jv version of the 300 workout on Monday.  I have no idea how it will be, besides difficult as hell.  I am shooting for doing half of the reps outlined in the article so it will actually only be a 150.  Even so, doing the circuit is going to be extremely tough, if I have it straight in my head it will go like this:

12-13 pullups
25 pushups
25 deadlifts with 135 pounds on a barbell
25 Floor wipers with unknown amount on the barbell
25 box jumps on approximately a 24″ platform
25 one handed clean and presses with 35 pound dumbbell (both sides)
12-13 more pull ups

 Actually if I add that up it works out to 175 total reps.  I have no idea if I will be able to complete the circuit.  This week I tried a few reps of the exercises I never did like the box jumps, the dumbbell clean and press and the floor wipers.  Standing alone they are tough, rolled together back to back to back is going to be brutal I’m sure.  Another guy I talk to at the gym is going to give it a go as well. 

This weekend I want to go to the Seminole State Park to hike around.  Like I said awhile ago, I want to try to work more stuff like that into our weekends to break out of the typical, do housework/chores, then watch movies/tivo/play wow for the majority of what is left of it cycle.   The park is down close to Goodland and supposedly is a quality nature trail.  Hopefully in the near future we are also going to rent kayaks and tool around one of the local waterways.
