Desensitized

I saw the headline about 22 31 33 people getting killed on the VA Tech campus and hardly flinched.  I don’t know if it is the daily headlines outlining continuous death in Iraq that has made me almost immune to it all.  I mean is it somehow worse if college students die as opposed to soldiers or women and children?  I don’t think so.  I remember when Columbine happened, that hit hard.  I feel very little now. It is just yet another horrible story further demonstrating what a piece of shit the world is turning into.
