Moon, smooth, meeting

Last night after work I went to the runners club meeting to do a demo of the new timing equipment.  I was a bit nervous about it.  I wanted to make sure that everything worked as it should and that I was able to demo it without stumbling over my words and sounding like an idiot.  It went pretty well, I had a couple hiccups but nothing serious.  Everyone is excited about the new system.  They are depending on me to make it all work.

I saw the lunar eclipse last night.  It wasn’t quite what I expected.  I thought the covered part of the moon would be pitch black but instead it was just in shadow.  I heard that with a telescope you can see Saturn’s rings right now.  I’d love to be able to see that.

Here are some pictures of the graded back yard I took quickly with the phone camera this morning when I was walking Nicki. It’s our own personal beach.

A lot of the seed Ali started are sprouting.  The corn especially is going nuts.  Even though I am not a big fan of corn on the cob, it would be damn cool to eat some grown in our own back yard.
