Next to nothing
Yesterday a batch of 20 EUC Army shirts that I ordered came in. I had ordered some shirts from another company that I wasn’t all that pleased with. The company I ordered from this time I have used before and their shirts have lasted and looked good for years.
I had Cindy be my model for the 3D store entry which looked cute. I am making next to nothing on the sale of the shirts. Unlike the 3D stands, figuring the profit margin on a shirt is very easy. Selling each shirt for $14.99 will generate enough revenue for me to buy a cup of coffee. I intentionally set the price of the shirt low because I see it as more of a marketing effort than a profit reaping one. If the shirts cost less hopefully it is an easier snap decision for someone that in the big picture results in free word of mouth advertising for me. If the interest is there it will be easy enough to expand the clothing line into different styles, colors, and more.
