Cat still here, weekend

Buttons has been making slow but steady improvement. She has been eating albeit very small amounts. Her energy level is better and her face doesn’t look like she just got whacked by a 2×4 anymore.

The weekend was calm. We did some housecleaning Saturday. I went the extra mile and pulled out the carpet cleaner and mopped down the ceramic tile. I should do that more often. On Mother’s day we did some minor outside projects, took a 4 mike walk and then took my mom out to dinner for mother’s day at a cool outside bar/restaurant called the Chiki Hut. It’s an older rustic place that is associated with an older hotel on the same property. Evidently developers have bought the property and are going to tear down the charming hut and 3 story hotel and replace it with 2 massive towers of condos. Progress is wonderful.

I got a wall mount TV bracket to mount a small TV outside on the lanai. The idea of floating in the pool or sitting outside dining while catching something on the tube is appealing to me. Like our own little Chiki hut….
