Fox News

While I was putting in my 3 miles on the treadmill at the gym yesterday I had the misfortune of having Fox News on the tv in front of me.  I felt like throwing up when they had a long segment with no other than Karl Lying Piece of Shit Rove.  They thought it would be relevant to get his take on the health care debate. Please, Karl Rove is one of the most corrupt political figures in recent American history.  Hell he would give Dick Cheyney a run for his money.  Broadcasting his opinion on anything is ludicrous, hell you may as well throw Rush up there.

I also found myself annoyed with Fox’s typical 24 hour news fear mongering.  They were doing a story about Hurricane Bill, talking about how it was strengthening into a powerful storm.  Although they did quickly mention that it was forecast to come nowhere close to US mainland they instead chose to focus on the “cone of uncertainty” and reminded viewers that Katrina did not go where she was originally forecast to land.  Gotta inject that element of fear into any story possible, ridiculous.

Sure all 24 hours news channels employ similar tactics, I just found this segment particularly aggravating, especially while I was in the middle of running at a brisk 7mph pace.
