I picked up Ali at the airport last night.  Despite being immersed in sub-freezing temperatures for the majority of her visit to PA she had a good time visiting her brother’s family.  I took the van to pick her up with the dogs riding shotgun.  Of course they were ecstatic to see her.

While I was waiting for Ali to call me to pick her up I was sitting in the cell phone lot playing with my Pocket Tunes app.  I mainly just use the app to listen to Stern via the internet feed on my Iphone.  However the app has every radio genre you can imagine and I started just checking them out.  I listened to a full time Christmas music station, the police scanners for various municipalities around me and finally stumbled across the sports station I used to listen to exclusively in PA, 610 WIP.  It really is a fantastic app.

After getting home it didn’t take long until I was back into more race prep.  I had close to another 50 paper applications to put into the system.  We currently have over 1750 people registered for the race.  This will by far be the biggest event I ever timed.
