Blow back, Bike back, The World

As I mentioned yesterday, Randall was quite happy on Saturday to beat his chest about his volleyball win all over the virtual world of Facebook.  Although I expected some crowing I thought he went a bit crazy with it when you look at the real world circumstances.  I figured the best way to illustrate this was through yet another xtranormal.com episode.

I also was sent a link to a Randall pic that he obviously is quite embarrassed about.  He evidently went berserk when it was posted online.  I think he may now realize a couple things. He may have been a bit overzealous in his celebration of a game where 3 of the 4 participants didn’t really care all that much about the outcome.  Also, when it comes to e-teasing I shouldn’t be challenged. I’ll take my foot off the pedal now.

I picked up Ali’s bike from the bike shop after work.  They just made sure everything was back in alignment and tight, as well as rewrapping the handlebar that got scraped up.  They didn’t charge us a penny for the work which again, I thought was very cool.

Ali isn’t enjoying the healing process from her accident.  She has all kinds of body soreness on top of the pain of the open wounds starting to heal.  Unfortunately her injuries will more than likely prevent her from participating in the triathlon we are both signed up for this weekend.

We have a rather odd Tuesday night ahead.  We are getting picked up at our home in a limo along with three or four other couples from the running club.  We are then getting driven to the east coast to Fort Lauderdale for dinner aboard The World, a luxurious floating condo that circles the globe.  We are being treated to this by one of the very affluent members of our club.  I think it is his way of thanking us for what we have contributed to the running scene.  Needless to say it is a VERY generous offer. It should be an interesting night.
