Cute rock

Last night I got out to see Project Hail Mary, a movie based on a book with a potential end of days scenario. I love both end of days and sci-fi movies so it was a good fit for me. The movie had a strong opening weekend and has received positive reviews and I see why. Outside of a few slow spots I found it entertaining. I never thought they could make an alien that looks like giant rock insect endearing but somehow they pulled it off. I give it an A. What I did not enjoy was the 30 minutes of commercials and previews that Regal forces upon it’s customers. It’s utterly ridiculous.
